TROMBONE/FLUGELHORN PRACTICE MUTE

The 3-D printed trombone practice mute is just a scaled-up larger version of the trumpet practice mute. It possesses all of the same attributes of the trumpet mute including great intonation in all registers (including the pedal register). Due to the excellent pitch of this mute, it was recently used for a few very soft passages in a contemporary work performed by the Houston Symphony to great effect. The same closed-cell foam is used to cork the mute like the trumpet mutes. No need to fog the bell and it stays in easily. Being made of PLA filament, this mute is also surprisingly light in weight. Available in Concert Black and Fire Red until the batch runs out.
